Call to Worship:
Good morning ... welcome to Balshagray
Victoria Park. Nehemiah to strengthen God's people in adversity taught: ‘God is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate,
long-suffering and ever constant, and he did not abandon us.’

Hymn
500 Lord of Creation

Collect: Forgiving,
gracious, compassionate, long-suffering, constant one who is faithful. Holy God
our Father, these are wonderful attributes and they give colour and substance
to your love. They are beautiful but costly, to forgive you must provide a
saviour, to be gracious you must bear the cost, to be compassionate you must
allow your heart be broken, to be patient you bust absorb suffering to be
constant you must willing to save in season and out of season and because you
are forgiving, gracious,
compassionate, long-suffering, constant you are faithful. We see these glories in
flesh and blood in Christ Jesus your Son, we experience them in the tender
ministry of the Holy Spirit and so we worship you; Amen.
